Vacuum plating is to use electric current to heat tungsten filament over 1100℃ and vaporize the aluminum in vacuum chamber, which is less than 10-5 torr. The aluminum material evaporates rapidly into vapor atomic, then radically deposited and form a coherent metal coating.
Vacuum plating has great optical character. Its deposition is quick and the coating is even. Except for large area, all kinds of material (BMC, PC, ABS, PEI, Aluminum, Megnalium) can be plated, thus, this technique is widely used in reflector processing. Various of automobile and reflectors, indoor and outdoor lighting systems, LED lightings, and even material beautifying, can this technique be applied.
